Hazel Bank Country House Borrowdale Valley Hotel Rosthwaite, Rosthwaite

My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The rooms were very comfortable with modern bathrooms and spotless, exactly what we needed. The hotel overlooks the back lawn and the trailhead that leads into the eastern woods and up the mountain, providing beautiful views of the garden and the high hill behind. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel special from the moment we arrived. The location is superb, offering convenient access to many walks and points of interest. The dining experience was fantastic with freshly cooked items and gourmet food. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Helvellyn. The rooms are very spacious and contain a four-poster bed, beautifully presented and immaculately clean. The view over the gardens at the rear of the property was a lovely touch. The service was top-notch, with a Masterchef finalist leading the team, providing fantastic food and attentive care. The location is ideal for hiking the Borrowdale trails, set in the best part of the Lakes with an array of walks right from the doorstep. The dining experience was absolutely great with loads of options and perfect quantities.
